Menurut satu sumber di forum Lowyat, Harga rasmi Proton Prevé telah pun "leaked" atau pun terpampang secara tidak sengaja di web Proton Edar. Harga yang tertera adalah seperti berikut. Jauh lebih rendah daripada tentative price yang diumumkan oleh MD PROTON ketika sidang media tempoh hari.

Pengarah Urusan Proton Dato’ Sri Syed Zainal Abidin (DSZ) difahamkan bakal meletakkan jawatannya dalam syarikat tersebut. Akhbar The Edge hari ini adalah antara yang pertama melaporkan perkara tersebut. Terdapat juga khabar angin bahawa akan ada lagi pegawai yang bakal mengikut langkah DSZ. Walaubagaimanapun, setakat pagi ini belum ada pengesahan rasmi dibuat oleh pihak Proton mengenai berita ini.

Pihak DRB-HICOM setakat ini masih belum membuat sebarang pengumuman mengenai pengurusan baru yang bakal menerajui syarikat automotif nasional tersebut.

Below is a media statement from Proton Holdings regarding the resignation of Proton's Group Managing Director Dato’ Sri Haji Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir.

We refer to the news report in The Edge Financial Daily dated 10 April 2012 on the resignation of Proton’s Group Managing Director, Dato’ Sri Haji Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir. Proton is not aware of the source of this speculation. Dato’ Sri Haji Syed Zainal is still holding the position of the Group Managing Director of Proton, and his services are still required in the company.

The post-acquisition exercise is still proceeding smoothly and upon the completion of the same, Proton is expected to have a strong synergy of current and new management team members that will provide Proton with the necessary impetus to lead the company in its aspiration to become a globally successful automotive player.

PROTON tidak pernah gagal mencipta suatu "hype" setiap kali menjelang pelancaran model terbaru mereka. Tidak lama lagi, model sedan terbaru yang bakal menjadi flagship model PROTON akan muncul. Model ini boleh dikatakan yang paling dinantikan rakyat Malaysia untuk tahun 2012 ini.

Baru-baru ini, PROTON telah pun melakukan sidang media untuk mengumumkan secara rasmi nama kereta terbaru mereka iaitu Proton Prevé (baca: Prae-vae). Dalam majlis yang sama, pihak media telah diberi peluang untuk memandu uji Proton Prevé di Putrajaya. Jadi untuk memudahkan peminat automotif sekalian, saya membuat sikit kompilasi point-point penting beberapa "First Impression" review dari blog-blog automotif terkemuka di Malaysia. Of course, saya tidak terlibat dalam event tersebut. Ini sekadar merumuskan semua review dalam satu post untuk rujukan semua.

Pemanduan sejauh 160km di atas lebuhraya dan jalan berliku menyaksikan kehebatan Prevé yang sebenarnya. Dengan stereng yang lebih memberikan maklumbalas, ia mengambil selekoh dengan bersahaja. Finally it's confirmed! Model terbaru PROTON iaitu Proton Prevé akan dilancarkan pada 16hb April. Lokasi kemungkinan di Mines. Tapi jika masih ramai yang tidak tahu sebutan nama model ini, apakata lihat dulu video penerangan dari Managing Director, Dato Sri Syed Zainal sendiri.
