Proton Edar Beri Penjelasan Mengenai Gambar Kemalangan Proton Prevé Yang Tersebar

Bermula dengan isu gambar butang tenggelam, kemudian pula isu kualiti welding di bahagian pintu. Hari ini kecoh lagi apabila terdapat satu set gambar yang menunjukan sebuah kereta pandu uji Proton Prevé mengalami kerosakan. Pelbagai spekulasi dan andaian timbul, sekaligus memberi impak negatif kepada produk terbaru keluaran PROTON itu.

Namun, bermula daripada tweet Hezeri Samsuri (editor Top Gear Malaysia) sedikit sebanyak memberi kelegaan kepada supporters Proton apabila mengetahui ianya berlaku akibat kemalangan (human error) dan bukan masalah kualiti atau part defect.

Lewat malam tadi, PROTON EDAR telah membuat satu kenyataan di laman Facebook mereka mengenai kejadian tersebut. Sila rujuk screenshot dan caption di bawah.

At around 4.45pm yesterday, one of our sales advisors was involved in an accident while driving from Jalan Sentul towards Jalan Pahang in KL, when the Proton Prevé that he was driving hit a divider and landed awkwardly causing the lower arm to break.

p/s : dikhabarkan tempahan sudah pun mencapai angka 3ribu unit. Dan esok merupakan hujung minggu pertama sejak model ini dilancarkan. Dijangka tempahan akan meningkat dengan mendadak pada hujung minggu ini.

KB Mall Freak Accident Update

It seems that the car that plunges through the roof top was out of control. A 17-year old girl was reported to take control of the steering while his brother tries to jumpstart the car by pushing it. The car somehow dashed foward and the girl lost control of the car that caused it to went straight through the wall.

2 Students who were at the escalator died due to massive head injuries. The Police is still looking for the man known as Sabri to help for the investigation.

KOTA BHARU 6 Dis. - Dua sahabat maut manakala dua lagi parah apabila sebuah kereta yang hilang kawalan terjunam dari aras atas tempat letak kenderaan sebelum terhempas di dalam pusat beli-belah KB Mall, di sini hari ini.

Mereka yang terbunuh dalam kejadian kira-kira pukul 4.45 petang ini ialah Siti Nur Amira Shamsuddin, 19, dan rakannya Siti Nordiana Azman, 18, yang berasal dari negeri ini.

Seorang lagi rakan mereka Rashidah Ahmad Latfi, 18, dari Besut mengalami cedera parah dan dikejarkan ke Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II di sini.

Kesemua mangsa yang dipercayai ditimpa serpihan runtuhan semasa di eskalator tingkat dua bangunan itu, merupakan penuntut di sebuah kolej kejururawatan berhampiran pusat beli-belah itu.

Turut parah ialah pemandu kereta berkenaan, Norain Said, 19.

Kejadian itu menggemparkan beratus-ratus pengunjung dan pekerja di pusat beli-belah tersebut dengan kebanyakan daripada mereka bertempiaran lari dalam keadaan kelam kabut.

Keadaan itu menyebabkan bunyi dentuman yang kuat, seolah-olah bumbung bangunan tersebut sedang runtuh sejurus kereta berkenaan terjatuh dari ketinggian dianggarkan 50 meter bersama ketulan batu dan serpihan kaca bertaburan.

Pihak pengurusan kemudiannya bertindak mengarahkan kesemua mereka yang berada di dalam premis itu supaya keluar dan menutup pusat beli-belah berkenaan.

Ketua Polis Daerah Kota Bharu, Asisten Komisioner Zahruddin Abdullah ketika ditemui di tempat kejadian berkata, kereta itu dipercayai hilang kawalan semasa berada di kawasan letak kereta tidak berbumbung di atas bangunan itu.

"Sebelum kejadian, kereta itu dinaiki oleh tiga orang iaitu dua perempuan dan seorang lelaki tetapi tiba-tiba mengalami kerosakan," ujarnya.

Katanya, lelaki itu yang dikenali sebagai Sabri kemudian menolak kereta itu yang dikawal oleh Nurain, 19, di dalam kereta manakala adiknya, Nurul Atikah, 17, pula hanya memerhati dari luar.

Menurut beliau, bagaimanapun enjin kereta itu dikatakan berfungsi tiba-tiba serta meluncur laju lalu merempuh dinding yang menempatkan sistem pengudaraan bangunan berbumbung dan terjunam.

Tambahnya, kes itu akan disiasat di bawah Seksyen 42 (1), Akta Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan kerana memandu secara melulu.

Sementara itu, seorang pengunjung pusat beli-belah berkenaan, Ismail Mamat, 50, memberitahu, dia tergamam mendengar dentuman yang kuat disusuli dengan gegaran.

"Saya begitu takut lalu berlari keluar daripada bangunan itu. Saya diberitahu kemudiannya ada kereta terjatuh dari tingkat atas dan syukur saya selamat," ujarnya.

Hazura Ariffin, 25, yang bekerja di medan selera kompleks tersebut, berkata, dia dan rakan-rakan yang lain terkejut apabila tiba-tiba mendengar dentuman yang kuat dari tingkat atas.

Katanya, pengunjung mula panik dan bertempiaran lari untuk menyelamatkan diri kerana menyangka bangunan itu akan runtuh.

"Apabila saya keluar dari medan selera, saya nampak kesan runtuhan, bila dongak ke atas nampak sebuah lubang besar dan di tingkat bawah ternampak sebuah kereta yang terjatuh," katanya.

KOTA BARU:Two shoppers were killed after a driver lost control of her car on an upstairs open air parking of a mall, slamming the vehicle into a retaining wall before plunging down three stories.

Another shopper was seriously injured in the freak accident that occurred at 4.45pm when the mall in Jalan Hamzah was packed with weekend patrons.

Nurain Said, who was in the car when it plunged down, miraculously survived the 54-metre fall.

The dead have been identified as trainee nurses Siti Nuramira Shamsuddin, 19, and Siti Nurdiana Azman, 18, from a local college, both of whom died on the spot after being hit by falling debris.

Both Rashidah Ahmad Latif, 18, and Nurain have been admitted to the Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital with head injuries.

District OCPD ACP Zahruddin Abdullah said the original driver of the car - identified only as Sabri - had earlier gotten out of the car, which had stalled at the parking area.

He said Sabri then told his 17-year-old sister Nurain to get behind the wheel while he pushed the car in an attempt to jumpstart the engine.

ACP Zahruddin said while Sabri was pushing the car, the engine suddenly came to life, causing the car to lunge forward and smash into the retaining wall, which also served as the building’s ventilation airway.

He said Siti Nuramira, who was on the second floor of the building, and Siti Nurdiana, standing on the ground close to the escalator, could have died after being crushed by concrete debris.

“We are looking for Sabri and another woman identified as Nurul Atikah to assist police in their investigations for reckless driving,” he said.

A witness Hazura Ariffin, 25, said she heard a loud bang that shook the building.

“I thought it was an earthquake at first. I was shocked to see the wrecked car lying in the middle of the mall between the escalators,” she said.

Police had since cordoned off the building and advised all patrons to vacate the building to avoid further casualties.

Crowds waiting outside the mall attracted the curiousity of motorists, causing serious traffic jam along the road. Traffic only resumed to normal two hours later.

KOTA BARU: Two female students from Masterskill College of Nursing and Health here were killed and another seriously injured when a car plunged from the parking area of the KB Mall here at 5.40pm on Sunday, said a police spokesman. - Bernama

Not sure what was the actual cause. But from various sources on the net reports that a few girls was learning to drive on the roof top parking when they lost control of the car before it plunges through the roof top wall down onto the escalator at 2nd floor. Unfortunately two students who were on the escalator died due to serious injuries to the head. Another girl is still getting medical attention. Meanwhile, the car driver and passengers were reported missing.
