Review Filem Melayu Yang Ada Pelakon Cun Seperti Fazura : Manisnya Cinta Di Cappadocia

Dah lama aku tak menulis review Filem. Lebih-lebih lagi filem Melayu. Bukan apa, panggung kat Malaysia ni sentiasa sarat dengan Filem Melayu Seram, Horror, Menakutkan, Tembak-tembak, CGI letup tak jadi, Horror, Seram, Gengster, Horror, Seram, Lawak Seram, Hantu, Lawak Hantu dan filem Seram semata-mata.

Kali ini, Bernard Chauly (Pisau Cukur, Istanbul Aku Datang) kembali lagi selepas 2 tahun dengan masterpisss filem romantik featuring gadis-gadis Melayu yang cantik serta lokasi penggambaran yang sangat indah. Get it? Gadis cantik + Lokasi indah.. memang kombinasi yang manthap.

A girl decided to break up with her long-time boyfriend when she realises her boyfriend is having an affair. Then she met another guy but was heartbroken when she finds out that he is married. Meanwhile, widower to her late sister proposes to her. Will she except or persists to find her true love?

Fazura cun giler dan sedang mencari cinta di Cappadocia. Cappadocia tu terletak kat Turkey.

Disebabkan aku tak nak spoiler citer ni, aku kasi rating terus lah.

Highly recommended. Genre romantik sambil dihidangkan dengan scenery cantik masyaAllah negara Turkey. Line up semua hebat seperti Fazura, Shaheizy Sam, Lisa Surihani, Eja, Faizal Hussein, Zaibo, Fauziah Ahmad Daud, Josiah Hogan etc.

Movie Review : Pisau Cukur

“Pisau Cukur - 2009”

I give this movie 3.5 stars. I’m not a fan of Malay movies (except those coming from Afdlin Shauki). The reason that attracted me to watch this movie is the presence of many talented actors (although most of them are just cameo appearance)
Basicly it’s a comedy about two friends Intan and Bella (played by Fazura and Maya Karin), who goes on a cruise vacation. Intan is a tv host while Bella failed to win the heart of a rich guy in a reality show.

This movie is filled with talented line-up. Of course the two main actresses Fazura and Maya Karin, both have won awards at FFM. Others includes Liyana Jasmay (recently on Papadom – Best Female Actress FFM09), and Afdlin Shauki (Best Actor, FFM09 – for the movie Papadom), Aaron Aziz, Eizlan Yusof, Umie Aida, Nas-T & a newcomer Shahredza Minhat.

The story is written by 3R host Rafidah Abdullah, who also made cameo appearances in the movie. She also wrote tv series “Gol & Gincu” which is why the movie has that same style & urban feel.

The CGI used in the movie is nice but there’s still room for improvement. I'm not sure if I say this right, but the movie does look "nice" and "advance" compare to most Malay movies (read Yusof Haslam's movies).

Overall, it's an interesting movie, Fazura really did well (I think this is her first time doing a lead role in a comedy), Maya Karin sweet as always!
